Just recieved my weighted blanket. One word Awesome! I got the smallest weight I could for an adult 4.5, as I have arthritis, and I have issues with claustrophobia, i got it initially for restless legs,I was surprised to say the least that it worked,no more medication for restless legs, which didn't work, and I can sleep yay! Best night's sleep in a while. Glad I got the smaller weight, couldn't have handled a heavier weight, I am so glad I decided to buy this. Was really undecided,did a bit of research, grabbed my granddaughters heavy Doona for a few nights found that the heavier weight worked, so I bought this oodie blanket, my granddaughter got her Doona back. I reccomend people do research cos a heavy blanket can do more harm than good especially for elderly and frail,I am 71 but I am not frail, arthritis yes but active.i reccomend this 4.5 blanket for people in my age group. This 4.5 blanket sits on top of my adjustable king single bed. I would love to get a summer cooling weighted blanket. This blanket, also had a good a side effect, for years I have not been able to sleep properly,diagnosed with insomnia, had this long before the restless legs,this blanket has enabled me to be a ble to fall asleep naturally,and stay asleep,even if I do wake up to go to the bathroom,I go right back to sleep again.Not sure how it works but it does and that is good enough for me.
